" Just In "
The thing that war brings to those who have gone to battle and survived is how did my life change? Post-traumatic Stress Disorder has been with me over 57 years and I still deal with those demons of sleepless nights, intrusive dreams, and reliving the hard times over and over.
I have written a book entitled Rice Paddy Stew and Saigon Tea that deals with the issues of going to and surviving a war. To coming home and finding that I brought the war home with me. What were the challenges, how was I able to adapt to the things I faced? I have been told that this book and story has helped a lot of people just like me who go off to war and then come home with wounds to the mind and the heart. There is hope and a thing called Post-Traumatic Healing will kick in if you are open to it and willing to work on making things better for yourself and those that you love.
